Windows Server Code Name “Centro” CTP 即将发布

      一封邮件显示，沉寂许久的 Windows Server Code Name "Centro"将在近几周内发布一个 CTP 版本，Centro 会是一组可装在多个服务器上的软件产品，而服务器可透过应用功能的设定配置用于特定的业务类型，这就让系统管理员从繁琐的电脑日常维护工作中脱身，有时间研究如何改进企业任务的技术问题。连同那些员工人数少于25的小型企业在内，微软希望到2010年能向中小企业客户销售超过100亿美元的软体。

      据了解，Windows Server "Centro" 基于 Windows Server 2008 的代码开发，整合了服务器和管理系统应用程序，新的 CTP 将包含来自 Windows Server 2008 Beta3 的组件，以更新曾经出现的 Windows Server "Centro" Beta 1 系统内组件，包括 System Center Essentials 2007，Exchange Server 2007 与 ISA，从这里我们可以看出它是一个企业级的打包版 Windows Server 而已。
