我们报导过微软反病毒软件 OneCare 在英国病毒公告板实验室 VB100 测试中落败的消息，据此微软做出了回应，称将改进产品以在未来的测试中得出更好的成绩，但微软并没有透露为什么会出现测试失败。
"We are looking closely at the methodology and results of the test to ensure that Windows Live OneCare performs better in future tests,"
"and, most importantly, as part of our ongoing work to continually enhance Windows Live OneCare to ensure the highest level of protection and service that we can provide our customers. As we have more information to share from our review of this particular test moving forward, we will keep you updated via our anti-malware blog."
VB100 的要求比较严格，能通过的产品必须检测出一系列病毒及其变种，这一成绩要在多台机器上多次得出，目前通过2月测试的产品有：
- CA's Home 和 eTrust 系列产品,
- Fortinet's FortiClient,
- F-Secure Anti-Virus,
- Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0,
- Sophos Anti-Virus 6.5,
- Symantec AntiVirus 10.2.
紧跟 OneCare 落败的有:
- McAfee's VirusScan Enterprise 8.1
- Norman Virus Control 系列产品(刚刚添加了 eEye's Blink Professional Suite).
