尽管尚未正式发布，但是 Windows Mobile 操作系统的最新版本 Windows Mobile 6(即 Crossbow)已经不再是秘密了，关于这一操作系统的种种信息早已在各国的论坛传播。而近日，据一些国外媒体透露，微软极有可能在本月14日,也就是西方传统的情人节正式发布这一操作系统。

做出这一猜测的原因在于在微软官网“MSDN Events and Webcasts”的预告页面上，泄露了 Windows Mobile 6 操作系统将在本月14日发布的消息。由于 3GSM 会展也会在届时开幕，因此该媒体推测微软极有可能在本次大会上正式发布 Windows Mobile 6。不过，在撰稿时笔者登陆微软官网，同样的位置显示内容却发生了变化，原来的 Windows Mobile 6 被改为 Windows Mobile。

尽管如此，笔者也认为 Windows Mobile 6 操作系统的确会在近期推出。之前，微软已经确定了这一操作系统不同版本的名称，而且目前，已经有厂商推出了采用这一操作系统的手机，但是也仍然需要微软发布这一系统的正式版才能上市。看来，Crossbow 的确离我们已经不远了。
